When it comes to sports, Sorin's first love is Soccer/Futbol. As a multi-faceted athlete, he used wrestling as a gateway out of the communist regime. 

As a Romanian and Italian wrestling champion, Sorin immigrated to the USA, putting his Olympic dreams on hold. His choice was "One-Time Medal or Lifetime Freedom."

In 1998, Sorin started the International FootTennis Federation, featured in the NY Times Magazine and other newspapers and TV stations worldwide. His efforts sparked interest in different countries to form their own Foot Tennis Federations.

At the 1994 World Cup Soccer Fest in LA, Sorin managed SportFloor USA and brought 2 Sepak Takraw teams from Malaysia to participate in the FootTennis and Soccer Skill events. 

Sorin's goal for Extreme Soccer, a San Diego Sports & Event Marketing Co., is to recognize & celebrate all the soccer sports that make up the beautiful game.
